The inability to see social problems or to even express opinions in a nuanced way is clearly shaped through the power that the various ideologies of today have. Caught in between, the public stands in what can be likened to an ideological borderland. In this borderland, everything is decided for you. Here your future is easily put at stake and your so-called “friends” can also choose to turn their backs on you just with the simplest justification that your way of thinking about something is wrong. The most tragic thing about this is that the unique history and basis of friendship and the other parts of it that actually unite you in other ways no longer matter to these people. In the ideological borderland other people claim the right to place you in either one corner or the other, whether they know you or not. Paradoxically, these people tend to advocate a non-judgmental approach to others and the pursuit of human equality and inclusion, while at the same time having no problem judging you and declaring you as an evil person. At such a time once you are placed and categorized by others; your words no longer have any meaning. The power of the emotional rulers will actively misunderstand you, no matter how well-chosen and logical your arguments are. Nor does it matter anymore at this stage if the logic is united to pure and certain facts. Even if you were to show remorse for something clumsy you said and truly apologize for it, they would not forgive you so easily, they would be merciless to you for a long time… At a later stage they might be able to forgive you, but remember there are still no guarantees. At worst, if you let your emotions get the better of you, your punishment will be a time in a state of uncertainty about what is to come, a miserable vacuum of loneliness and worry. If you allow them to take that control over you, you have indirectly contributed to “them” punishing “you” with time to wait for the so nicely advocated inclusion that they indoctrinate. In the distant future, our descendants will laugh at us human beings who lived and especially at the emotionally driven social justice organizations that eagerly tried to do everything to control the individual’s ability to think for himself. The absurd and sick pursuit of this form of totalitarian power will have a face in history from the era of our time. So… don’t despair my friend, you know you are right and there are a lot of people who have your back and believe in you, even when you doubt yourself. It is individuals like you my friend that our descendants will pay tribute to, strong, fearless and free-thinking individuals who never backed down. The misery of emotional power domination will be revealed one day. Never forget that these individuals also suffer more emotionally than you do. So continue in the same direction, be factual and self-reflective and distinguish between feeling, thoughts and reason. Note, however, that the risk of conflict in the ideological borderland occurs the moment you take courage and express yourself even in a nuanced manner. It takes very little for people to turn against you. What happens outside of you is beyond your control, while the aspects that you are fully capable of mastering are your inner self, your thoughts and feelings. It serves no purpose for you in the long run to be controlled by your
feelings due to the fact that reason and logic are in danger of falling through the cracks. Really trying to master one’s inner self should be seen as a prerequisite for being able to push through this completely twisted reality that we find ourselves in today.
